I have been working on designing a rag doll. I finally finish her today. She is a one of a kind. If you want to design your own doll it is not difficult as long as you can use a sewing machine. First you should sketch your doll. Once you have your design start drawing your pattern. I take a piece of paper folded in half and draw the shape of half the face and body then cut it out If you do this you will always have and even face on both sides of the paper. I do not like to make the dress until I have the doll stuffed because I like to size my dresses and sleeves by the size of the doll. When drawing the face I use a disappearing pattern maker. If I make a mistake I try again in 48 hours or you can make several face patterns to practice on and then transfer the face on to the face pattern before you sew the body. This doll is for decorating purposes only and not for children .You can find this doll here: http://www.craftfrommyheart.com/whatsnew.html

So cute! I'm a crafter too but I'm into xstitch, embroidery and needlepoint. I have not used a sewing machine in ages and I doubt if I still know how, haha.
